IStakeU continues it’s success!!!! (Jan 26, 2010)

IStakeU continues it’s success on becoming one of the best online staking sites on the web today. Last week, January 22nd, 2010, we held yet another freeroll for IStakeU members which put on another great turnout of 328 members. Top 36 were paid and those making the final table were:

Some members to recognize this week with HOF scores are the following:

  • Iridium with a 8th place finish in the $109 rebuy event on Pokerstars for over $10k+ and also took 14th in the Sunday 500 ($530 buyin) for $3,500+!!!!
  • Apb turned in his 2nd HOF score in back to back weeks with a 2nd place finish in the $20k Guarantee which included nearly 6k entrants for a score of $3,400+!!!!
  • Dmitch442 showed that not only is he a great mtt player, but he can grind sngs with the best of em, taking down “3” $75 45 man sngs all for nearly $1,200 scores for each one.

    IStakeU gets noticed by “PokerNewsDaily”!!!! (Jan 19, 2010)

    As some of you know by now, “PokerNewsDaily” sat down with IStakeU’s, Patrick Hahn for an interview, which brings great publicity to our community. For those who didn’t see the article, here is the link; Poker News Story.

    Also a few names to recognize this week include:

  • Akilam77 who yet put up another HOF score with a 9th place finish in the $109 rebuy event on Pokerstars for $2,700+.
  • Dmitch who put together 2 more HOF scores with a 2nd in the $55 $40k Guarantee for $7, 400+ and also took 5th in the $55 “Turbo Fiddy” for $1,400+.
  • Iridium put up a score of $9,200 with a 2nd place finish in the $109 $40k on Pokerstars.

    Several IStakeU Players Score Big, Including a $750k Guarantee WIN!!! (Jan 11, 2010)

    Wow!!!!!!!! That’s the only word I can use for the week that several IStakeU members had. I’d like to take a minute and give a congratulations to all of these particular members.

    Dmitch442 who is always a consistent winner hit “6” HOF (Hall of Fame) scores so far this month…

  • Took 1st in the Turbo 50 for $3,800+ on 1/9
  • Took 6th in the Nightly $70k for $3,300+ on 1/2
  • Took 1st in the “Big Antes” event for $1,500+ on 1/3
  • Took 1st in the $44 turbo event for approximately $1,400 on 1/9
  • Took 3rd in the $4k 4max event for $1k+ on 1/10
  • And also won a $52 90 man sng for over $1k as well

    • I Cee Thru U who is also on the rise here at IStakeU hit his first HOF score as well this week and we suspect several more from him in the near future……

  • Took 3rd in the $11 $8k Guarantee 6 max for over $1,200 on 1/3

    • Akilam77 has really made quite the impression here in his first stake moving him to the top 5 of our Player’s leader board with “4” HOF scores of his own including……

  • Took 2nd in the $25k for $7,200 on 1/9
  • Took 2nd in the $55 1R1A $18.5k Guarantee for $3,400+ on 1/7
  • Took 4th in the $35k KO for $4k+ on 1/6

    Speaking of SO_OFFICIAL, who also just recently joined IStakeU this month has already made a name for himself with several HOF scores himself including a SUNDAY MAJOR WIN!!!!!!

    • We mentioned it in last week’s newsletter that IStakeU was gearing up for 2010 and we believed it to be and exciting year to come. Considering the first 2 weeks of 2010, I believe we are in for an OUTSTANDING year to come.

    IStakeU kicking into Gear for 2010!!!! (January 6th, 2010)

    Coming into 2010, IStakeU gears up for what we hope to be an exciting year to come. Since launching in May of 2009 we have grown to nearly 1,200 members and have staked out NEARLY $300,000, with Player winnings totaling $170,000. WOW!!!!!

    One of the major things to look forward to in 2010 is our $3,000 WSOP Contest. IStakeU plans to send 3 players to WSOP 2010. You can view details on the home page for further information.

    Some other things to look forward to is our new “Coaching” link (located on the home page), which offers some of IStakeU’s best players, whether it be sngs, mtts, or cash games. Also, we are offering PLATINUM memberships for only $75, which covers all your “Request a Stake” advertisements for the entire year. Also, be looking for many other upgrades in the near future as well to help better navigate on IStakeU.

    IStakeU would also like to welcome aboard our newest moderator, David Mitchell (dmitch442), who is an outstanding player as well and is at the top of the leader board. David (dmitch442) as well as Brian Webb (DeathInVegas), Michael Gilbert (holdemplayer81), and Patrick Hahn (Patricii) are here to answer any questions or concerns you may have with IStakeU, so please don’t hesitate to ask.

    Dmitch442 Gets Hot and IStakeu.com Tops 600 Members (September 9th, 2009)

    Dmitch442 gets 27th of 1563 people in the WCOOP Event #14 for $2110.

    Dmitch also has turned his $1200 Stake for the WCOOP events into $11,822.96. He also ran a FTOPS events stake and turned $1000 into $6,845.70.He has taken over the top spot in the leaderboard with over $30,000 in profit for his stakers. Nice Job!

    www.istake.com has over 600 members now and continues to grow at a great pace. We appreciate everyone’s contribution to the site and will continue to improve it to give everyone a great staking experience. Our goal is to create a great poker community where we can all improve our game and make money.

    ISU players have huge week!!! (July 20th, 2009)

    Some major stories this week on ISU!!

  • Bklg1504 had an outstanding week making numerous final tables including a 1st place in the Poker Stars $25K for $5,324 and a 2nd for $4,844 and 4th for $3,125 in the $35K on Full Tilt. Bklg1504 is now atop the leaderboard. We wish him luck in his LIVE BAS that will be running in August at Turningstone in New York. He may have a few shares left if you are interested.
  • DeathinVegas comes out of nowhere and makes a gigantic score placing 2nd in the $109 $80K on Poker Stars for $16,573. Attacat was the lone backer in this stake and makes a huge return on his investment. Congratulations DeathinVegas and Attacat on this monster score.
  • Patricii got 2nd place in the $55 10k on Cake Poker this week for $1579
  • Jtrain2040 got 4th in the 15KG for $2,057.20
  • Dmitch442 got 7th in the $22.5K for $2342.21

    ISU League Underway!!! (July 13, 2009)

    ISU’s first league tournament was held on PokerStars, July 9, 2009. It was a $10+1 buyin tournament and we would like to congratulate Patrick Hahn (Patricii) on being our first league winner. Also we would like to mention Andrew Webb (A Webb) and Brian Klingman(Bklg1504) for finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively. Here is the ending results for the tournament:

    Welcome to the 4th installment of the IStakeU.com newsletter. We have grown significantly again this week with over 215 members now. This week would like to welcome you to 2 ISU events. The first happens this Thursday July 9th at 20:00 EST on Pokerstars. Go to tournaments section, then private. Look for the ISU Weekly points event. The password is istakeu. This will be an ongoing weekly event in which points will be kept for player of the month and player of the year. This is the first week for it, so get in immediately to join the race for player of the year. The 2nd event is our first ever IStakeu.com freeroll. This takes place this Saturday July 11th. Good luck to all involved as I believe this is a sold out game already!

  • Brian Klingman (bklg1504) continued his absurd run of dominance this week with 3 more Hall of Fame scores including 4 final tables in MTT’s in the same day. His Hall of Fame scores totaled around $3500 for this week.
  • Andrew Levesque (TheNHRookie) scored a Hall of Fame win of about $2K this week for his first big score since joining ISU.

    Top ISU Players Do it Again!! (June 29, 2009)

    Well, we’ve come to the end of our second month of existence and we’ve already got some great players doing very well for their stakers. We continue to have great success from our top players each and every week, so if you’re not investing in these top notch players, you’re missing out. For those who don’t know already, iStakeU is holding a weekly $10+1 buy-in league tournament held on Pokerstars, starting July 9th at 8:00 pm est., so please don’t miss out (Prizes to be announced at a later date).

    This week we had several top scores from some of our top notch players. Included are:
  • David Mitchell (dmitch442) finished 2nd in the Turbo 50 ($5k Guarantee) for $1,687
  • Brian Klingman(bklg1504) had several top finishes including a 4th in the $30 cubed ($12.5k Guarantee) on FTP for $1,200, 5th in the $40k on FTP for approximately $3,000, a $75 45 man sng win for $1,179, and also chopped the $15k on Stars for $3,150.
  • Andrew Webb (A Webb) finished 9th in the $50k Guarantee on Pokerstars for over $1,100 and also had a $75 45 man sng win for $1,179.
  • Gerald Rahmn (vector001) also had a 4th place finish in the $17k Guarantee on FTP for $1,800+.

    ISU GOES LIVE!!!! (June 22, 2009)

    Welcome once again to our weekly newsletter. Again, we continue to grow from week to week and now are over 160 members. We continue to have great showings from some of our top players and I believe that our backers are very appreciative about it. One thing we have added to our site is a weekly $10+1 buy-in league tournament held on Pokerstars, starting July 9th, so please join us for that (Prizes to be announced at a later date).

  • This week iStakeU had it’s first Live BAS action at the Caesars and Venetians in Las Vegas. We would like to congratulate David Mitchell (Dmitch442) on his 4th place finish in the $340 Mega Stack event at the Caesars for a total Cash of $3,172.

  • Other notable HOF scores from this week are: Bklg1504 with a 7th in the $35k Guarantee on FTP for $1,038

    Weapons of "BAS" Destruction. (June 15, 2009)

    Welcome to the first weekly newsletter of iStakeU. The official launch date was May 1st and we’ve already had some great success with several deep runs and wins in some Big Guarantee tournaments. We are also offering several promotions during the first few months such as a referral program, freerolls, and incentives for top players and stakers.

    During the first month, we’ve had over 100 new members join and currently have 21 active stakes running. Several big scores by some of our top players have been recorded already and the site is off to an impressive start!

    Here is a rundown of the top players of the first month of the site!

  • Dmitch442 scored for over $10,000 including a win in the $28k Guarantee tourney for over $6k for his first BAS as a member of ISU.
  • AWebb went with back to back Hall of Fame scores of over $1300/each.

  • Holdemplayer81 continued his dominance of 45 man SNG with 2 Hall of Fame Appearances.
