What do u do in this spot???? We are on the final table bubble and i'm sitting 4/10 atm. The player hasnt really got too out of line, but have seen him raising A10 and KQ from early postion with full table. Full Tilt Poker Game #20871970957: $69 + $6 Sit & Go (160657809), Table 1 - 250/500 - No Limit Hold'em - 23:10:40 ET - 2010/05/15 |

I'd make the call. You already have 20% of your chips in the pot. His range is wide open on what he shoves with there if he is raising early pos with A10. Once you make the call, just run good.
Don't Sweat the Technique. |

Before you act you should always think about what u will do if some pushes on u. but after putting 20% of ur stack in I would find it hard to fold.
open shoving is ok i suppose folding is fine also if ur a complete nit i think raise folding is pretty weak tho

Notorius said it pretty well. Anytime you are on a bubble, no matter what your stack size, you need to ask yourself before you commit any chips to the pot whether or not you are willing to go all the way with this one, then bet/raise accordingly so as to avoid spots like this. If you open shoved, you might get a walk, but odds are the a q still calls. By just doing a small raise, you left the door open for the guy to steal that pot from you. |
